Eric grew up in the Central Valley of California near the Sequoias National Park. His first passion for sport begin in soccer at the youth level rising to play for the US Olympic Development Team. Running became natural to him as he competed in High School Cross Country and later running his first ultra years later in 2010. Since then Eric has run or competed in over 80 trail/ultra/cycling events. Finding his limits became his goal as he has completed 100 mile to 200+ mile endurance events on foot and the bike.

During his journey in endurance sports he found his calling as a running and soccer coach. Most notably creating the first wooden race medal as Elevation Culture was born in San Diego, CA. Today he manages the Elevation Culture Race Series and is a creative designer for the outdoor industry with his new venture Elevation Culture Creative.

Eric Lives in beautiful Boulder, Colorado with his girlfriend Candacie. Where they continue to explore what Colorado has to offer on and off the trails.

Elevation Culture was born out of passion for the trails and the community that elevates them. Eric discovered a way to marry his love for mountain ultra running and design.

Since 2015 Elevation Culture has crafted for over 3,000 mountain sports events across the USA. Through trail/ultra events hosted annually, event creative design, and a host of event specific services.
